Sometimes as a photographer you get a random phone call to go on a bus for the weekend with a very talented country musician, when you get that call you say HECK YES!

I had a blast driving around the East Coast with Canaan Smith and his band. It was a short weekend tour but we covered some ground, Tennessee, Ohio, and Virginia. Canaan contacted me because he wanted some live shots, but more importantly he wanted me to capture some scenes from life on the road. I really loved his ideas and what he wanted to capture which made the job that much more fun. These guys are all like family to each other, but I suppose that happens when you spend 24/7 with each other and only one restroom. Oh and did I mention that the bus broke down on the way home and we were stuck for 5 hours, which turned into an epic marathon of Mario Cart.
